SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area daily. The support level established for intervention experiences a high influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to sassa status attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to permit the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
